It is time to start thinking about the changes to the
shooting sports program.
Please send ANY and ALL recommended changes for
the 2006 State 4-H Shooting Sports Rule book and State Fair 4-H shoot in
writing to me by November 9th. We will then compile the changes and send them
out to you and your counties for input. The changes will be voted on at the
December shooting sports retreat on December 16th and 17th. If you would like
to see a change or have a suggestion, please find a solution to the change. Do
not just state that you did not like something. This is meant for a positive
process of making the best situation for the youth. I think we had a great
shoot this year and liked having the rule book out early. Your attention to
this matter will help insure this process goes smoothly.
