2009 4-H SS Contest Online Entry General Information

ATENTION those entering data: Contact your County Extension Office for your access code. Agents or county offices will have to enter their competitors or give their codes to their coaches.

ENTRY TIPS:

ATTENTION COACHES: If you have contestants who are shooting a combination of two or more of the following disciplines at this year's State 4-H Shooting Sports Contest, you need to leave a comment in each discipline's "comments" section of the online entry form to indicate the potential conflict for those that are formulating squads. The contests that are affected are those that will be on August 23, 2009. The contests are: Archery, Air Rifle, Air Pistol, and Muzzleloading.

  1. You must enter coach’s information first.
  2. Once you enter the coach’s information you can add an entry.
  3. On the “add entry” page you must type in the county name then select your name from the coach’s list then type the youth’s name and Hunter ID # (if the member currently does not have a Hunter ID # but is in the process of getting one use a temporary # using the county initials and five numbers (ex: For Kit Carson County -- kcc00001 ... kcc00002 etc.)).
  4. If more than one coach is entering competitors, please check the “Attendees Report” Page to see if that child is already entered in other classes.
  5. To edit entries go to “Attendees Report” and click on the child’s name.
  6. Important- YOU are responsible for making sure you have entered your youth correctly.
  7. Please verify entry information on “Attendees Report” page.
  8. The entry fees are automatically calculated on the “Attendees Report” page. Please look at the bottom of the page to see the total amount owed for your county.
  9. If an event is not listed on the form, it is already full for your county.
  • Comments Section: Please make all squadding comments in the comments section form. We will do our best to meet your requests, but it is not guaranteed. Other comments such as sharing equipment or conflicts can also be included in this section.
  • AGE DIVISION: Junior Division - Age 8 and not over 13 as of December 31, 2008 (Junior aged persons may compete as seniors if desired, but may not compete in both divisions). Senior Division -Age 14 and not over 19 as of December 31, 2008
  • Entries will close on August 1st. All entries must be prior to this time.
